Day at the Park

It's been about 2 1/2 years now since my family moved away to Mesa. I'm the only one left in this little town. We love it here but I sure do miss them when we go too long between visits!
So I head that way every couple of weeks and this past weekend we decided to do a picnic in the park near my moms house! I love when we are all together. The kids have so much fun seeing each other and playing. I have such a great family!

Christmas Stockings!

So for as long as I can remember, my mom has made our stockings! Every couple of years we would get new and bigger ones! So I decided that this year, with the help of my mom, I wanted to make my little family's stockings! It was so much fun! I picked out all of the material and the decorations and my mom did the sewing! They turned out sooooo good!

Santa came!!

We have kind of made it a tradition in the Luna family to spend Christmas eve with my side of the family and Christmas day with Nemo's. It seems to be working out and I love all of the family time!

Most every year on the Carroll side, we do a name draw and everyone buys a gift for whoever they drew, so everyone gets something! We love doing this! We choose a price limit that works for everbody and go shopping! Brandy (my oldest sister) drew my name and she got me the cutest makeup case, a scarf, some earings and lip gloss! I was so happy to get the makeup case because mine was running out of room!

We did dinner at my mom's for Christmas eve. We had a soup buffet! There were 5 different soups, bread, rolls, sandwich stuff, and I made my famous cream cheese crab dip which was a hit!!! Also there were about 15 desserts!

We ate and then opened gifts! I always buy pj's for my kids to wear Christmas eve so they opened those and then opened the other gifts that they had. All year Austin has been bugging me for a pillowpet, but I had told my mom that's what he wanted for Christmas so everytime he would ask for one I would tell him maybe he would get one for Christmas! So the look on his face when he opened it was priceless! It was his very favorite present of all! Stratton liked his puppy pillowpet but he prefers cars and trucks much more. So he really loved the hot wheels track that Aunt Brandy and Uncle Scott got for him! Hadley got 3 babydolls! But I see her playing with Stratt's trucks more often.. oh no.. please not a tomboy!

Christmas morning is my favorite! I love the look on my babies faces when they see what Santa brought! The rest of the morning was spent lounging around, playing with toys, and watching the movies that Santa brought! Just to name a few of the gifts they got: Austin got the movie he wanted and the bike he asked for, Stratton also got a bike and he got a remote control semi truck which exceeded every other thing he got! He loves it! Hadley got a rocking horse and a baby stroller! I loved every minute of that morning!

Winter Fun!

Oh Christmas time! I absolutely love this time of year! All of the family together, the music, the baking, the shopping, and all of the fun things there are to do!

We did alot of fun things! We took the kids to Buckeye's annual Glow on Monroe light parade. We had a fun time and we got to hang out with the Lacy family!

At Austin's school this year, they did a little "Christmas Concert." It was cute to see all of the kids up on stage singing their little Christmas songs!
That picture was taken on my phone so it's a little blurry. Austin's in the red!

We also had the wonderful opportunity to go to Austin's school for his Polar Express party! We ate breakfast, played games, and then watched The Polar Express (the movie we didn't stick around for)! But it was a fun time! Even Hadley and Stratton loved it!

We attempted to take the kids to Glendale Glitters but when we got there, there were about 2000 people that had the same idea for the evening! So we drove through and looked at the lights with a passing glance, and then stopped at the little candy factory up the road! Since we sort of skipped out on the lights, we let them get some candy!

Thanksgiving 2010

So this year for Thanksgiving, we did ALOT of eating! On Thanksgiving day we went to my moms and ate an early lunch so that her bf could have some before he left for work. And then the afternoon was spent at my MIL's! More food, more family, and more fun!
On Saturday we did the Carroll family Thanksgiving over at my Aunt Cindy and Uncle Alex's house! They are so generous to let us have it there every year. I got to see alot of family I hadn't seen in a long time! It was so much fun catching up!
I am so incredibly thankful for so much in my life! I am thankful for a wonderful husband, who works so hard to provide for our family. He is my best friend and my love and I appreciate him more than he'll ever know.
I am thankful for my kids, who not only light up my life but make me realize what life is all about! Without them I don't think I could breathe. They are so precious, all 3 of them. They have such unconditional love and an innocence that only shows in a child. They are my whole world!
I am thankful for great family and friends who spruce up my life and make it a more enjoyable place!
I am thankful for a warm home. I am thankful for reliable cars!
I am thankful for so much, but here are the hightlights!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!!

Fall Festivities

So every year when fall comes, I get so excited for all of the fun stuff that there is to do, but also the change in weather, the Christmas shopping, and the time with family. It's still such a magical time of year for me, even though I'm all grown up with kids of my own!
We took the kids the the pumpkin patch at Tolmachoff Farms this year and it was fun! It was a little warm that day but we made it feel as much like Fall as possible. The kids got to play on the bouncy house, ride a little train, pet animals, and just run around! It was a great family day!Daddy with the kids!!

For Halloween this year, Austin decided to be a vampire, Stratton was a fireman, and Hadley was a little witch! We went trick or treating around our neighborhood with the Thurman family and got a good amount of candy, and a good workout!
Hadley would not keep her hat on for anything! And the funny thing about it is that she wants to wear it all the time now that Halloween is over!Thaddious, Gabriel, Austin and Stratton! (the ninja, GI Joe, vampire, and fireman)
My cute little witch!
ooooo and my scarey vampire!
And there goes the hat!
